Le Penseur En Couleur
Portraits are one of the more difficult pieces to execute simply because one always has to answer several questions:
Where does the person's gaze fall?
What is his/her expression?
Who are they?
How will others interpret the subject of the portrait and my portrayal of them?
The portraits above represent key activists, historical figures, family members, models, fellow artists, and actresses. Some are done in watercolor, others in oil but most are done using acrylic.
