About Lorena

Visual storytelling has always been a favorite pastime of mine. I've been illustrating and rendering before I could hold a crayon, when all I needed was my finger to trace an image in the air. My family roots are gleefully entangled in a multicultural medley of Mexican, Spanish, and Swiss heritage. This medley has been the catalyst for a number of travel and cultural adventures which I will save for another time.

Academically, I hold an MA in Art Business from the Sotheby's Institute of Art in London and a BA in Foreign Languages & Linguistics from Georgetown University.  I've painted murals in private homes and businesses in New York City, New Jersey and Boulder, CO.  My experience includes designing CPG labels, working with gold leaf, spray paints, acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, and ink.  I accept private commissions. Most importantly, I celebrate my love of art by enjoying it and practicing it.
